Hi, I am 18 years old an am adopted. When I was little my father was never around. I was adopted when I was 12. What I wanted to know, was if I could remove my biological fathers name off my birth certificate? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

If you were adopted, another birth certificate was issued, with your adopted parents' names on it.

Your biological father's name shouldn't be on your birth certificate.

Were you actually LEGALLY adopted?
