I have a 1985 Dodge with a box body. With your regular online insurance the vehicle details do not show, so does anyone have any idea where I can get insurance (UK)

Hmmm, I'm not sure wather they'll cover it or not and it may be expensive but you could try the NFU

Have you called a real agent (person)?

Chances are, certain vehicles are not available for online quotes because of their age. It doesn't mean you can't get insurance, just means you may need to talk with a real person. They may have to quote it manually as well as inspecting the truck in person (depending on what coverages you want).

I suggest calling an agent rather than trying to do it online and see what happens!

Thanks anyway. I finally managed to get an insurance company, had to describe the vehicle because they haden't heard of it. Managed to get it for £69 a year. What a bargain!
