I am looking for the name of an animated television Christmas special that would have run sometime in the early 90's. It was sponsored by McDonald's - the premise of the show was about this little orphan girl (I think her name might have been Molly) and she was wishing for a family, or something like that, and there was this policeman and his wife who eventually took her home for Christmas. I remember watching this with my oldest son, who is now twenty - it only ran for the one year, that I remember. Please tell me I'm not crazy and that someone else remembers this special?

Thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for! I was beginning to doubt my sanity, as no one I ever talked to remembered such a Christmas show, but I knew that I had seen it with my son. In fact, the year that it was on television I had taped it and we had watched that show together over and over again. Whew. What a relief to finally know what the name was.:)
