Putting a chain pull on a dual light wall fixture
I'm replacing a bathroom light scounce it has two separate bulb holders. I'm trying to put a chain pull on it. The bulbs each have a black & white wire and the little chain kit has two black wires. I can get the lights to light, but the chain pull will not shut them off. Please help.

The blacks from the 2 bulb holders go to 1 black on the switch, the other black hooks to the black not connected. This should be the hot from the switch.
If the Pull chain does not click, it may be defective.

I think I might have a bad pull chain switch, because I put the white wires all together and the black wires with one of the black wires from the switch and put the other black wire to the black hot wire. Once I flipped the fuse switch back on the bulbs lit, but the light would not shut off when I pulled the chain. Thanks for your help.

    Good Deal.
Did you notice if the old switch clicked when pulled?
