I have shut off power, removed the light bulbs and glass, taken the nut off the center threaded rod, taken off the blades and the blade holders. How do I remove the rest of the ceiling fan?

Is this a ceiling mount or a down rod?

You remove the motor at the ceiling. Take the canopy down first.
