I notice there are a few "experts" on these vacuums.
Mine sucks great, the belt id fine, the brush cylinder turns by hand, but the brush does not turn when running, like as though the spindle from the motor has become disconnects.
The brush did clog up with hair some time ago - perhaps this has broken something inside. ANY IDEAS?

There is nothing much to break. The belt runs on the motor shaft. Is the belt moving? If not then maybe the belt is stretched.
