How do you attach the closet ring to the concrete floor?
I removed the old bent up ring which was not screwed into the floor. Our toilet has been leaking gases, wobbling, and sliding in all directions. We live in the desert and when it heats up the gases flow into the house. I have gotten as far as fitting the new ring into it's spot but I do not see concrete. It appears that something that resembles wall patch or Spackle to fill and elevate under the old ring. We have a tile floor. If I remove all of it that the new closet ring may be too low for the tile floor. I would like to know what the height of the closet ring should be in relation to the tile floor and how to attach the closet ring to the floor.

Your flange will set on top of the tile floor. The flange can be secured to the floor with plastic inserts and wood screws or TapCons. Good luck, Tom
