Im 29 weeks pregnant with my first child, but the father doesn't want to claim my child... he says it cannot be his but I know she is his. Should I put his name on the birth certificate?

I don't know what state you are in but, in Oklahoma he has to be present and willing to sign the birth certificate for his name to be put on the certificate.

You can demand a DNA test after the child is born. If it's his then he's going to have to be responsible.

You can't force him to be a part of the child's life, but you can force him to pay for what he helped create.

I'd call around now, have everything in place for when the baby is born.
