    Hair color disaster!
So I dyed my hair a dark brown... got an almost black. So I read the reviews went out and bought color fix from Salleys. I did the process with shampoo to not really damage my hair too much. I left it in for like 30 minutes and when I washed it out my roots were ORANGE! So I quickly did the last step the lotion and it darkened my hair back to a reddish brown, but it's still very dark. I was just wondering if I could still use head and shoulders to try and lighten it or will that just bring the orange/red out more and not lighten the brown? I can live with the color, and I'm not into real bleaching per-say I was really nervous about using the color fix and would prefer something without those chemicals. If there's nothing you can think of to do I'll just live with the roots and the color I have now. Thanks!

Depending on your hair type, head and shoulders has always done the trick for me.

If its really bad, perhaps a hairdresser could fix the problem?

When you use ColorFix, you must always re-dye the hair. It doesn't turn your hair back its natural color; all it does is remove the artificial haircoloring that was deposited. The orange is what is left of your natural color.

The "lotion" (a weak peroxide solution) is to let you see if you got all the artificial haircolor out -- you didn't. If you had, it would not have changed the color at all.

If I were you, I would use ColorFix again (it's not uncommon to have to use it twice), and then re-dye with a color more to your liking.
