Hi there

Whenever I boot up my system following error dialogbox comes up

"C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\gvdcgfc.dll The specified Module Could not be found"

Only one OK button is there.

But noting wrong I found afterwards.

What could be the cause?
Is it Virus?
Is is needed by the OS? If so from where do I can got this?

My OS is Windows XP with SP2.

Sounds like something was installed and removed, but your startup wasn't changed. Go to Start>Run, type MSCONFIG and go into the Startup. Look for that file or something similar and uncheck it.

If you can't find it, uncheck anything you aren't familiar with and try rebooting. If the message is gone, try rechecking items one at a time then rebooting until you find the culprit.
