    Car seat
Does anyone if you are meant to have a baby car seat in a peogout 206 cc in front or at back?
Read some articles on peogout and it says the front just to deactivate the air bag.. but I'm 100% convinced to have a baby in front even if maybe the car is designed to have it in front.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

I would not put the baby in the front, due to impact in an accident besides the airbag in nsuch a car the baby would not come out without injury.

Safeist placement would be in the rear and in the middle of the seating area if possble. Rear facing is needed for newborn means the baby is facng the rear of the car.

    Mine is a 3 door
I read 3 door cars its viable to put baby in front in case there is an accident its easier to get to then if at back
    Still not convinced
But my husband says its fine.
He believes they must have tested it for these things.
    I really don't no!

Where I live it is not legal to put the seat in the front. But let the manufacturer of the car seat decide, read the manuel. I think both of you are wrong. Also check with your local police department, what do they say?

They have crash tested these cars when they were produced.

You can use a special made car seat for such cars and the front of car.

Also, where I live it is illegal to put a baby in the front seat if your car has a back seat. Whether the car/carseat is crash tested or not.

My car does not have proper back seats.
The back seats they have are low small and hard seats. Its not a proper 4 seater.

I called my local peogout dealer and was told it is legal to have a car seat at front if the car seat is made for the front and the airbag is off.

You can do what you want, but I still do not think it is safe, and you must have doubts as well since you posted your ? Here. If I were you I would look into getting a true family car.
