    Death in my apartment
I would like to find out if a young little girl had passed away in my apartment. My daughter seems to be talking to a little girl named Liz and tells me she is her friend. Not for sure if she is just imaginary or if she is a ghost/ spirit.

Check the newspaper archives, ask the neighbors - there is no central clearing house.

Lots of kids have imaginary friends.

Check the local newspaper for the deaths. Also watch your child to hear the conversations. If it seems far too interactive to be a imaginary friend and if no one has died there then there might be some cause to get her to a doctor to see if there is a neurological problem. I had something like that when I was younger where I heard voices and it ended up being a chemical imbalance in my brain and I was medicated for a bit then they told me I didn't need it anymore try to see what's going on with her. But you don't need to jump to conclusions right away, just see if you can hear her conversations to start with.

It is a very common thing as Judy said. Unless your child is having other problems, or symptoms of stress or anxiety, then I'd just let her be.

My older sister had an imaginary friend, Merker. When my sister did something wrong, she would say "Merker broke it", and it was impossible to get mad at her apparently. She had a little imaginary friend, and nothing harmful ever came of it.

If you think it could be something more paranormal, see what your research shows. I had an experience a few months ago visiting a friend in her apartment. I had a vision of a child falling out of a window. Turns out, it was true after a friend of a friend was old enough to remember the story.

But, either way, if she's happy and content, I'd just observe, and let it go.

Your daughter probably just has an imaginary friend- I had several of them when I was younger. If there was a death in your apartment you can always ask your landlord- I believe they are required to tell you if someone died in your current place of residence. Newspapers more than likely won't show you anything- considering the place of death is not usually included in obituaries- and if your apartment complex is relatively new, old archives and newspapers are the wrong place to be looking. I'm sure this is an innocent thing, since your daughter is at that age.

Just because she has a friend liz does not mean that it is anyone dead. Does not mean that it is a ghost. Etc, Etc,
