Bank Seizure for Civil Judgement in Texas
I have had a judgement against me. I am not working at the moment, and really have nothing for them to put a lien on that is not considered exempt. My question is regarding a joint bank account that I have with my partner. Will they seize that for the judgement if my name is listed on the account. I don't want his payroll direct deposit to be seized because of me.

Anything in your name, individual or joint, can be used to pay a Judgment if that lien is legal in your State.
