Can you catch an infectious disease from a forign tooth?
What should you do if you spit out a tooth while eating candy.. and its not your tooth?it scratched the inside of my mouth.. do I need to see my doctor? Can you catch blood borne or infectious disease from it?

I'm sorry I can't answer your medical question, but I do have something to say about this. If you haven't already, please contact the manufacturer so that they are aware of it. And hopefully the problem can be prevented in the future. Because as someone who really enjoys candy, I so do not ever want to find anything in mine! Ew.

I hope you kept the tooth you spit out to send to the manufacturer as jc55 said. I would think that if it is a tooth any bacteria that would have been on it would have been killed in the processing of the candy. I would contact your MD and ask him/her though just to be sure.
