Whirlpool dryer model SEDS800HQ0 no longer heating up and drying clothes
The dryer has run fine for years, but stopped heating up and drying clothes yesterday. Everything else seems fine as the timer is still working and the drum still tumbling, but clothes are juts air drying as there is no heat being produced. Trying to determnine the best plan of attack. If it is simple and faily cheap, I will repair. If involved and expensive, I will buy new. PLease advise. Thanks for the assistance.

    KISS

    Here is a diagram too:

The heating element or thermal fuse. If the thermal fuse blew then something happened with the blower assembly. The element will set you back about $50. Your going to need a multimeter to start any troubleshooting.
