Toilet "outlet" won't fit in flange opening
We are finishing a basement and have finally gotten to the bathroom. We had a plumber come in and do all the plumbing minus actually attaching the fixtures. We were getting ready to set the toilet and noticed this problem: The flange opening is 3" while the toilet horn's (I think it is called) outside dimension is more like 3 1/2". So, if you place the horn in the wax ring and place this in the opening of the flange, the toilet is about 1/2" above the finished floor and rocking. What is a solution?

    Thanks!

Where in the world did you ever find a bowl with a horn that extends below the floor line? How high does the flange set off the floor? Is this a 3" PVC raiser with a 3" inside flange? What brand is the toilet? Let me know, Tom

Agree with Tom... Flip that toilet over and take a photo of its base for us. Also, post a photo of the closet ring w/o wax ring. Thanks...
