For about 2 weeks and have a sick not for the last 4 days can I get sacked for this ? Where do I stand I have never had written warnings etc before thanks ;)

If you don't have sick leave accumulated, they can fire you. A doctors note doesn't make a difference.

I'd go back to work. It's more depressing to be depressed AND unemployed.

I will assume you have been to the doctor and the doctor has told you that you are too ill to work??

If so, you can apply for a leave though the FMLA ( assuming your company is large enough to be part of it and assuming you have worked there long enough to be covered
