My daughter bought her car from a slezzy dealer. The ck enj light won't go off. I found the wires to one of the sencers was spliced/ bypassed. I bought a new one and the light came back on after a few miles. The trans. Shifts poorly when cold but runs well when hot. I found another place on the therm housing not connected also. I respliced the wires again and it shifts normally but the light stays on. Q; are the two sencers wired parell, one backing up the other? Or is it the ECU. Thanks

Try resetting the ECM, by removing the 7.5A Backup fuse in the under hood fuse box, or by disconnecting the negative battery terminal, for 10 seconds.

All sensors are independent and on their own circuit.

If the wires are spliced going to the Oxygen Sensor, it will throw a code forever. This one, positively, cannot be spliced.

I guess I need to find where this hack cut the wires to the therm housing. Unless I do that, I'm chasing my tail. Is there a wiring digram available. S
