I am 14 and everyone has a boyfriend people always tell me that I'm lucky not to have had a boyfriend yet because of how it feels when you break up but is it just me should I wait or should I be desperate to get a boyfriend

No you do not need a boyfriend!
You need to honor and love yourself and be independent and be who you are :)

There's no need for boys. Your only young, enjoy your life. Boys will come and go, you don't need a man to make you happy. I was the same as you when I was your age, but now I realise how wrong I was.

The longer you wait for that boyfriend the better your chances are that you will enjoy the one you get. Don't rush it and don't settle for just any guy that asks you out. Have fun with your friends and try to excel in your classes.
