Wood Floor bumpy near dish washer
I have hard wood floors in my kitchen (the real stuff). I just noticed that there are several uneven areas in the floor near the dishwasher. This had to just happen in the past few weeks. I do not notice any other problem areas anywhere else. What could cause this? How do I repair this without damaging the remainder of the floor? If the dish washer is leaking could it cause this to happen?

Yes water damage to a wood floor will cause it to expand. I would first check for a leak and stop it.

Remove the kick plate from the dishwasher and check for moisture. Feel around the supply connection, feel any water? Let me know. Tom

I'll let the plumbing guys advise you on fixing the leak...

    I'll add other advice:

Whatever is causing the leak, get it fixed ASAP! If you leave it, you're opening yourself up to even more damage (mold, rot). If it's a fairly recent leak, you have a chance that your homeowner's insurance company will cover the repairs to the floor. If it gets moldy, then Insurance won't cover replacing the floor.
