My 10 year old has had a fever ranging from 99.5-101.9 for 3 days. I have been alternating between tylenol and motrin every 4 - 6 hours. How many days is this safe to do?

After 3 days it's usually a good idea to see a doctor if the fever hasn't gone down.

I was told not to give one (either tylenol or motrin) for more then 7 days so I would call your doctor and get her seen
