Please could someone tell me where I can download a multimedia audio controller driver for xp professional without getting stuck in some driver detective download?

My preferred sources for drivers in order are:

1. Computer system manufacturer's website.
2. Motherboard (integrated audio) or sound card (discrete audio) manufacturer's website.
3. Audio chipset manufacturer's website (reference driver).
4. General web search / driver website.

Post the computer brand/model or audio adapter info and maybe I or someone else can point you in the right direction.
