    Gullet cancer
    Hi

Can anyone tell me? 4 months ago I was diagnosed with gullet cancer and told that it was inoperable . Had just months to live! Possibly longer with some treatment! Had intense courese of chemo and radio , and now today am told by my consultant , after a scan , that there is now no sign of cancer anywhere?? Hi showed me on his screen , and pointed out the before and after scans!

Now my question is , has this happened to anyone else , as I have not found anyone yet with ths same outcome!

    Cheers

    Mike

All I can say is, this has happened before, much to your chagrin. That is why they call it "practicing medicine" We are human, and mistakes happen, even when it involveshuman feelings. None of us can bear it, but it does happen on a daily basis.
