So I went out last night and had one to many beers and I ended up fighting some guy. He punched me in the jaw and when ever I bite down or open real wide it hurts on the right side. The left side is fine though. If you can tell me how long I will have this pain or what I should do for the injury I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time!

Umm yeah that would be taking your little hiney to a doctor ASAP

The only thing you can do is take some tylenol for the pain, hope it goes away in a few days, and remember not to drink so much next time.

If you can open and close your mouth there is probably nothing broken.

Has this happened to anyone though? Cause I would like to know how long it will take to heal.

It's going to take a little while. Mot likely you bruised the bone. The pain should be gone in a few days.
