What do I do to sell my home when my mother-in-law is the cosigner on the loan? I am going through a divorce.
Is the mil on the deed also?
If so, you get her to show up when the sale is going through. If not, you do it without her.
What is her mood in all of this?
It is not who is on the loan, but who is on the deed. The loan would be paid off when you sell the house.
If no one else is on the deed, no issue. But if they are on the deed, they have to sign it also to sell the house
