OK I went to the doctor for my last appointment before I am induced on Sunday and my doctor informed us that I am 2 cm dialated, and 70 percent a faced, I was not dialated at all on my appointment Friday, I go twice a week for BPP's, so any how I was just wondering how long the progression of dialating takes I understand it can very, but if I get 100% a faced will I dialate any faster? Is there anything I can do to speed this up? We would really like to have her naturally without induction, or at least attempt to any imput would be great!

Please remind me... Ho far along are you and what child is this for you? First? Second? I apologize in having to ask the questions, but I have been so busy lately I can't even remember my own name.

I'm 39 weeks and Ive had one misscarage prior so this is the first baby I will deliver

2 centimeters is not much, but 70% effaced is a sign that you will be going into labor soon. Have you been scheduled for an induction yet?

You I'm scheduled for Sunday night, but my doc said I very well might not make it that long, I have taken his advice and walked morning and night, ( OK lets be more realistic waddled) I just really want to not have to be induced, they are inducing me a little early due to low fluid levels, but I would like to just jump start the process myself

Walking, believe it or not... sex... these two things will naturally induce labor, if you are allowed sex.

I'm not too concerned about the 2cm, but rather the 70%. I'm not sure you will make it to Sunday myself.
