    No cold water in bathroom
We had anglia water come to fix our leak on Thursday and once they left we had hot and cold water down stairs and in our small bathroom but in the big bathroom we have water coming out of the hot tap but its not very hot, but no cold water coming the cold tap. I phoned anglia water and the lady said if we got water down stairs and partly upstairs then they can't see it's the fault. I don't know what to do.

What was the original complaint and what did they do to repair it? Is "Anglia Water" a plumbing company or a utility service?" Back to you, Tom

Anglia water is our main water supplier in our area. They came to fix a leak outside the house by putting new pipes under our drive way.

What it sounds like is when anglia water replaced the pipes they disturbed some minerals built up on the pipe walls and now it's in your system. However you might have a hard time selling that to them. If they tell you it's not possible to have water hot and cold downstairs and not upstairs tell them that when crud's dislodged in the pipes it's the first fixture that makes a draw that gets clogged. In this case the upstairs bathroom. Good luck, Tom
