    My dog is sick
I have an 8 yr old black lab, He has been sick for the past several days, he doesn't want to eat or drink very much, he had slimy diarrhea overnight, no energy, eyes are have goop in them. It is hard for him to sit down. And he also has off and on had labored breathing. He had a growth on his paw for quiet sometime, then it fell off, and he hasn't been the same since. I know he needs to go to the vet, but I can't take him till Tuesday. Any Ideas what could be wrong with him. He is a very happy dog usually. He just looks so sad and miserable. If anyone has any answers please let me know.
    Thank you.

Why can't you take him until Tuesday? Where do you live? There should be emergency clinics around.

I won't have the money until then. There is an emergency clinic but the visit is $105.00 and then there are the tests they will have to run, and the meds he will need, so I am trying to find help for him until then. There are so many different things wrong, I can't find any answers. I don't believe it Parvo though because he had his parvo shots a long time ago, and he is an inside dog, not around other dogs at all.

If there is no possible way you can come up with the money (unlikely seeing as how you can afford to have the internet) then you will need to just keep his fluids up (go to the pharmacy and get some pedialyte), keep him comfortable by keeping him warm and keep him on some thick bedding and regularly washing the gunk out of his eyes.
Feed him a diet of plain boiled chicken and rice.

Parvo can be transferred by your shoes or clothes if YOU have come in contact with other dogs, your dog does not need to go anywhere near another dog...
However seeing as how he has had his shots it is unlikely that it is parvo like you said, but there are just too many thing that could be wrong that have his symptoms for us to diagnose over the internet.
