Coolglide laser treatment the private clinic london
Hi I just wondered if anyone has had the full 3 treatments that the private clinic in london suggests you need to treat blue veins under the eyes or is it all a load of nonsense and no maatter how many treatments you have its not going to work? I would like some more info on this if anyone can help before I go ahead booking appoinments that don't help and just waist my money. It would be a great help if sum1 could get bk to me on this thanks :)

    Hi,

I've had the coolglide laser treatment at the private clinic in London .
My problem has been the presence of blue veins under my eyes and some on my temple. These veins were not thread veins.
I didn't go for the treatment lightly but did enough research to make sure it'd be safe and have a good chance of working.
I've so far treated my under eye veins twice and my temple ones only once.
It's been minimum 6 months since I had the under eye vein done and although for some time it pretty much all gone, recently I can see it, more the size of a thread vein. I have spoken to Dr Gupta ( the person who does the treatment) about getting this done on my last visit in September when I had my temple ones done. He advised me to wait some more months as the treatment works best when there is plenty of blood in the vein (the laser responds to this) and at the moment there wasn't much there.

My temple veins I have to be the best that have responded to treatment, once the slight swelling goes down you can still see the veins, but be patient as you need to give your body chance to break it down. Two months on, day by day the temple veins treated are disappearing and I'm very pleased with it.

He has told me that as veind, if the pressure behind them is high enough they can in the future possibly return. Some people are just more prone to having visible veins.

Anyway, I would say it's worth the treatment, it does work, but of course will depend on the individual. Dr Gupta is really nice and reassuring and if the treatment isn't going to work he'l tell and save you your money.

p.s. I've read various research articles and they have said the outcome for treating these blue reticular veins are best when using the nd:yag laser AKA the coolglide laser.

Hope this info helps you make the right decision.

I've just read my response and there are some grammatical errors so apologise, I just thought I'd put a quick response before I shoot off to work. Lol

Hopefully you get the jist of it.
