    Dyeing hair blonde
    Hey!
I have naturally dark blonde hair that I get highlighted with lighter blondes. Im not happy with the colour at the moment and it's way too expensive to get it done professionally again so I want to use an at home dye to get it lighter blonde. I'm just wondering if it's risky to use a blonde dye on top of hair that has already been dyed blonde with a different product, if you know what I mean? I'm just petrified of my hair going green.

If anyone knows anything about this I'd really appreciate your input. Thanks!

You cannot color your hair lighter, you need to bleach it lighter.

If you simply want a better tone to your hair (too yellow or grey looking) then you can use a blone toner from a hairdresser supply shop or even a supermarket, as long as you are just toning the blonde it will not go green.

The green effect usually happens when people do not use a color in between when going from blonde/bleached to dark.
