Pilot light on new furnace won't light.
I live in a new manufactured home. It has a Intertherm, Nordyne furnace. I tried to light the furnace last night and the pilot won't start. I can smell the propane when it starts the pump, and I can hear it clicking while it is trying to start the pilot light, but to no avail. To my knowledge the furnace has never been ran before. Any help would be welcome.

Not sure about the Intertherm, but about all newer furnaces have a electronic igniter instead of a pilot light,, do you have a book/manual/parts list that may help as to do you have a pilot light?, we might be able to help farther if you can give us the model number of the Nordine,, they made many furnaces with many different model numbers

Who set up your home? Do you have any other gas appliances? Chances are that the person setting up your home did not purge the air out of the gas line. If you can disconnect the gas line for a about 30 seconds and let the air out, the pilot light will probably light.
