Range seems to be at half power
I just recently moved and bought a used range. It seems to work only at half power. It will only heat a little. Not one eliment turns red. Is it possible for it to only getting 110 power instead of 220? I have checked the plug and plugin. It was tested at the store to show me it did work. Jill

Yes, it's possible. You need someone who understands electricity to check the outlet you plugged it into.

Find the breaker for the range and turn it off and back on, then try the range. You can purchase a small voltmeter to check the plug voltage, I would start there. Most ranges run on 240 volts only, not 120 so it's odd that the elements "heat a little bit" If the breaker is half tripped, you shouldn't get any heat at all. (half tripped meaning one leg)
