    Dear Sir/Ma'am,

    I have got my H1B visa for year 2009-10. The visa is getting stamped in October'09.
    My company is not having much projects in US at the moment. I have heard that if a person having H1 visa stamped, doesn't enter USA within one year, the visa is expired automatically. :confused:And also it is clear that H1B is valid for a period of three years.
    Can someone please help me answer this question? I am puzzled as no such warning was found in the immigration site.

    I believe you are referring to "benching". Consult with an experienced immigration attorney.
