Wiring a Cassablanca fan and light to a wall switch that operates each function seper
I am trying to connect a ceiling fan and light kit to an exsisting wall switch. My problem is there 4 wires to the fan switch and only two wires from the wall.
    Can you help me?

You should have a black, white, blue and green from the fan and a black and white or red and white from switch. Green from the fan gets connected to the junction box ground screw. White from the fan goes to white from the switch. Blue and black get connected together and then get connected to black or red from switch.

Sorry, but it can't be done. You need one wire to bring power from the ceiling box to the switch location. You need one wire to take power back to the fan and one to take power back to the light.

He said he has 2 wires from the wall switch, which would be a supply and a return
