I was wondering if you cannot afford to buy a ring will the store put the ring on hold for you if you have made a down payment on it? And if so how long would the store typically keep the ring on hold for?

Bonita, you have to ask the store you are dealing with. All stores have different policies, but some will put a ring on layaway with a deposit and layaway meaning, you pay on it each month. I don't know how long that would be.
