Ask Me Help Desk - Not sure if I can tell I'm pregnant this early?

I had unprotected sex on the 24th of September and I ovulated on the 23rd and was fertile on the 24th. I am on birth control but I missed about 3 pills but realized that right before I had sex so I took 2. My nipples are sore and I have vomited a little bit last night but just feel nauseaed now, I usually pee like 4 times a day but yesterday I peed like 4 times in 1 hour. My belly was feeling weird earlier like bubbly and I am have these small cravings not crazy cravings but eating a little more. I am not sure if I can really know this early but I need someone to give me some advice. I am married and we can handle a baby if I am pregnant but right now is not the best time but we do talk about it all the time.

When you are on birth control, you do not ovulate. Its possible ovulation can occur, but its not very common, so I'm not sure how you can determine that you ovulated on the 23rd.

Since you are not taking your pills regularly, this could explain some of what you're feeling. Of course, the only way to know for sure is to take a HPT with first morning urine.

If its not the best time, you should be using better forms of birth control. Instead of the pill, you could get an implant or your husband could use condoms.

Thanks I did not know that you don't ovulate when your on the pill. I found out that I ovulated those days by an online calender than calculates that for you.
