What does g (x+2) look like on the graph? I have no clue in how to visualize it, and how do you determine the function notation for g(x)-2?
g(x+2) look like g(x) shifted by two units to the left. For example, see the attached drawing - it shows how g(x+2) is shifted from g(x) for the function g(x) = x^3
