I need help finding a movie this isn't call boys don't cry or just one of the guys but it is an older movie. It is about a girl who pretends to be a boy, I think to fit in or to do something with the guys like skate boarding for something like that but how she hides it, well she dresses like one and I think puts her hair under a red(ithink) hat and there is also a old building in it somewhere/how. I don't remember a lot about the movie. But I do know that the girl was in her teens or tweens no older than 18 in the movie. So can anyone help me please? :) would be a big help

I just saw an old movie where a high school girl pretends to be a guy and goes to another high school because she didn't get chosen for the newspaper gig. She thinks if she had been a boy that she would have gotten it. Anyway, she ends up falling in love with a guy while she is pretending to be a guy. I can't remember the title but if this is the movie, then maybe someone else might.
