I just adopted a kitten from the spca and she's 2 months old... she's underweight and I don't know what to feed her.. she'll eat a little at a time and I got her like not even 30 hrs ago and I seen her nibble at her food twice and she's supposed to eat 1/2 a cup what should I do? :(

There's a good chance she will start eating soon.. being passed around to different owners is stressful on an animal and most will not eat when stressed. Has she seen a vet to rule out a medical problem? Cats can get worms just like a dog can, so you may want to make sure she's been de-wormed. If she doesn't eat soon, try some canned cat food or tuna.

Try a really high protein diet. The pet stores have many verieties and brands of food. If she only eats a little then something with a lot of vitamins and protein would be good. Ask someone at the pet store, they can be very helpful.
