I recently purchase a PLUMB WORKS-Universal Fit Tub Diverter Spout, replacement. I was able to take to old one off-(Moen), The instructions are totally confusing and of course no 1-800 for assistance, The instructions states make the pipe copper protudes no more than

No more than what, or is that what the instructions say? Is this a slip fit of a screw on type tub spout?

There are tub spout, slip fit, Threaded type, nose connection, see the images below and tell us which one is your spout, Thanks.
