When I was 15 I started seeing this guy that was 19. We ended up having sex. He has pretty much made my life a living hell since then. Now I am 18 and pregnant by him. He won't doing anything and acts like he doesn't want to have anything to do with me or the baby. But, when I tell him that's fine and that he just won't see her, he threatens to take me to court. He's a really awful person and I don't want him in my daughter's life. Is there anything I can do? Maybe even if it has to do with when I was 15 and he was 19? Because I know that in Florida you have to be 16 to consent to sex.

It is very Unfortunate, you have to decide who your having this baby for because its not going to make him stay.if you want your baby have your baby for yourself and say the hell wit him take your baby love s/he and raise it to the best of your ability and if he is going to be there than he will. But I will suggest that you take him to court when the baby is born for child support because its very hard to raise a baby on your on.

If he is proven to be the father (either by admission or testing) he has every right to help you parent the child - and that includes visitation and/or custody. He also has to support the child. He would have to file in order to get visitation and/or custody; you would have to file for support.

If you are able to go to the Police, if they do take your complaint (and it's your word against his that you were having sex at age 15, unless he admits it) and he is tried and found guilty all you will do is lose child support. Maybe he'll be jailed. Maybe he won't. If he does go to jail when he gets out he is still entitled to see his child - the only way he CAN'T see the child is if you prove he is a danger to the child. You say he's an "awful" person - I don't know exactly what that means.

You are now 18, you've been having sex with him since you were 15 - when did he turn "awful"?
