Can anyone tell me about this one? I remember it was the most frightning movie I ever saw as a kid. Not sure of the title althoughI think it might be the witch. Can't find anything related to this title though... There's this strange scene at the beginning of the movie where some guys get in this old house. I clearly remember one of the guys going to the kitchen (very dark) and opening the fridge in which a head exploded there as soon as sight what set upon. I also remember the atmosphere was outstandingly startling. And it just gets worse... At some point a guy was hitting someone in slow motion with a blade while sumoning strange prayers, the goal of which was to maintain alive the victim...
If some of this rings a bell please help me out, these images are stuck in my head together with the idea that this must be the best horror movie ever. Thanxs

Could it be Superstition (1982)?
There's an exploding head in a microwave. The movie was also known as "The Witch".

I too have been trying to find out the name of the movie, it was pretty darn scary! I thank you for answering, I am certain this is the right movie!
