    Windows Live
What are Windows Live invitations- when you get a message that says that this person wants to connect with you what does that mean? What's the purpose to the invitations?

It means someone who uses windows live wants you to use it too... kind of like when you use aim... there is an option to send emails out to invite others to use it. Windows Live is probably the messenger. If you have an hotmail account then you can use that to sign into windows Live.

So does that means someone wants to talk to you?

At least. Just be careful talking to strangers.

Yeah... windows has an included messenger called "Windows Messenger," very similar to AIM.
