I made the mistake of signing over the title of the house before I was divorced. I was trying to help out so she could refinance to lower the payments.
We had agreed on my portion of the equity and when I could receive it, but now she has "changed her mind". Nothing was in writing, except a Separation Agreement she signed, but was never filed.
Am I out of luck on getting anything from the house? And can I still file to get something out of a vacation house that we owned part of when married?

Is the loan in both names as well ? Did you sign before or after the separation ? Has the title actually been changed ?
