I am nearly 19 and have recently just found out that I am pregnant. I was on one of the contraceptive pills but was sick afew time whilst on it. Could this be the reason why I am now pregnant? More so what should the next steps be? Thank you

What do you mean you were sick while on it?

You're pregnant because no form of birth control is 100% effective, as stated in every pamphlet that comes with the pills, so every time you have sex, you run the risk of getting pregnant.

Next steps? Are you keeping the baby or not? Either way, you need to go to the dr's.

If you were taking certain antibiotics, they cause the pill to be less effective. This could be how and why you got pregnant.

Next steps? Make a doctor's appointment to start your prenatal care.

As everyone else has said, go see your doctor. And make sure you've stopped taking the pills.
