Have a new baby, little over a month. All of a sudden the baby started crying in a completely different way. It was forced and high pitched and sounded like he was in pain. Brought him in to the doctor and the doctor seemed concerned as well. He is feeding well, gaining wait well. The crys were scary. The doctor at first said when baby's cry like that it could mean they are having stomach pain, or they are might have a throat or viral infection that is causing him to cry that way. The doctor checked his heart and lungs, ears and mouth and everything seems fine. He just said keep and eye on him. Watch his breathing and keep a cool humidifier in the room, which we already have. Apparently he is still crying a day later the same way. What is going on. Wish I knew. You get used to what is normal cry and not normal. I hope there is nothing wrong.
