I have a frigidaire washer model number fws800fhso

It won't spin or drain and there was a burning rubber smell coming from it,

Any suggestions as to what to do would be appreciated greatly

I had tha same problem and thought it was going to cost a fortune to fix.. but it turned out when your cloths spin they can make there way up and into tha front.. my 19 month old daughters sock got caught and tha front part when you take tha cover off..

Sounds like the drive belt is either loose or worn out, a simple fix either way.
