Kitten's sides above stomach "caved in"
Someone dropped off a stray kitten to our farm and it's sides above it's stomach appear "caved in". It cries a lot. Appetite is good. No vomiting. Anal area seems sore, but no blood in stool. Hind legs seem weak. Does anyone know what this may be?

Anything from an infection to worms to malnutrition, that kitten needs to see a vet asap.

Thank you for responding! I got it to the vet today. I had to stretch my budget, but my vet only charged me for the meds. Stray kitten has cold and worms. Passed on to my older kittens and momma cat. Taking care of them all and they are hanging in there.

Good to hear you got him to the vet.

I wish him speedy recovery and your other kitties too!

Have you got a name picked out yet? :)

    Ty.
I thought he looked like gollum, so I call him Smeagol. He is looking a wee bit better today.
    Tiny thing, but spunky.

    Haha I like it!

If you have any photos would love to see them, now or when he is better :)
