I'm guessing its intense and he is really in the moment and has got to be into you...

Better than looking away or day dreaming...

Yah, my husband always looks at me while we're having sex. I think guys enjoy watching women during sex. They are much more visual about sex, I mean look at the porn industry.

Some people do , some don't... don't try to make more out of it than it is. Its not a bad thing.

My boy friend does the same with me. I love it, it shows me he is into me and it makes the sex better. We are so much more connected than if we were looking off at the TV or something.

Another thing. Men are visual, but women are just as visual as any man. They just hide it. I love to watch just as well as any man and I will tell my boy friend

If a guy look into the eyes of the woman he is just "having sex" with he will fall in love with her. Haha, its nice to know men think we possess some type of power to captivate all the attention and affections. I myself don't know if any of it is true. Another one I heard is if he stares her in they eyes, it will speed up the ejaculation process, which usually is a big no no for men as they like to last as long as possible.
Wow good thing I don't have to hold back for an extended amount of time, I would be SOOOO tired and frustrated.

It means that this thinking about YOU. It's very intimate. My boyfriend does that too, (if I decide to have sex) it makes me feel really happy.

I don't know anything about "guys" but only about being with the woman I love, my wife.
In the beginning of our marriage, she never let me look at her when she tried to climax.; in fact she used to yell at me to turn away. I think that it was because she found it too personal and even though we were married, I was just another guy and she was not yet ready for such intimacy. Now after many years of marriage, she feels much closer to me and though she lets me look a little, she still doesn't like me to see her funny faces; maybe that was it in the beginning. As far as me looking at her during intercourse, I find it the most fantastic and exciting thing when we are staring at each other and we are both moving in and out. I would agree that ejaculation probably comes a lot faster when I look at her because she excites me so much but isn't that what love is!
For those couples just spending the time together in a sexual adventure, I guess that there is no need to look at each other because neither really cares about the other. The girl is just being used (and will keep the secret from her future husband) and the guy is just having fun (with another notch)and he is certainly not interested in looking at least not at that time.

I stare into my fiance's eyes because I am making love to her and not a fantasy. Also why I say her name during the act, its to make her understand that I am not just making love, but that I am doing it with her and no one else.

But I cannot speak for all the guys out there. If it is a visual thing for arousal I would stare down our bodies where they touch, not the eyes.

Well its definitely a good thing. If he is looking away or closing his eyes he could be thinking of someone else.

I look into my wife's eyes while we are having sex, it is a guideline telling me if I am getting her to the point of no return and I can get ready for the big finish. Then I know I am doing the right thing.
