    Small Insect Bites
I sometimes get small, mildly itchy bites on my feet and legs at night that are not mosquito bites. My 3 cats often lie on my bed but I have checked them and my sheets over and they do not have fleas. They seem to happen more often in the fall. Does anyone else have this?

They might be small spider bites.. not poisonous ones though. They are small and sometimes look more round than mosquito bites. I used to think that small spiders didn't bite until I woke up one morning with a cobweb on my pillow and some small itchy bumps on my face. If you have a lot of cobwebs in your house or tight spaces that might have webs it might explain the bumps.

Late summer/early autumn is also when various biting flies and midges are most active. Check your screens, weatherstripping, and vents. Even if it doesn't stop the bites it's a good time before winter sets in.
